This Week at Malaprop's

Barbara Kingsolver's Orange Prize winner, The Lacuna (part of which takes place in Asheville!), is now out in paperback. Last fall she launched her book tour here and spoke with Steve Plever from WCQS about the book and her choice of Asheville as a setting. You can listen the interview here. New this week: Super Sad Love Story, the new offering from the amazing Gary Shteyngart,  Carl Hiaasen's Star Island,  and new paperbacks from Margaret Atwood (The Year of the Flood) and Jon Krakaeur (Where Men Win Glory.) We are also very excited that our author event video archive is now live! We will be adding more events over the next few weeks, so stop by and see some wonderful authors that you may have missed.

1. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Larsson)

2. Tinkers (Harding)

3. The Girl Who Played with Fire (Larsson)
